Position Title:            Logistics Specialist                Department:  Logistics

Reports to:  Logistics Assistant Manager

Position Summary:

Responsible for supporting the Logistics Department by providing on-time delivery to our customer while assisting in the management of in-house inventory and addressing customer concerns in a professional manner.  Responsible for providing solutions to management to resolve customer issues relating to delivery of product to customer.

Essential Functions of Position:

·         Responsible for updating shipment schedules corresponds to customers’ daily requirements

·         Responsible for creating truck shipment plans daily.

·         Responsible for log actual shipment quantity sent to customers daily.

·         Responsible for supervise gate keepers for GR process and manage inventory.

·         Responsible for making sure a truck plan, an actual shipment and the DCR are matched.  

·         Responsible for log return parts and input the data to SAP.

·         Responsible for communicating customer issues to management, i.e., shortages and labeling issues, with proposed plan of action.

·         Responsible for any communicating customer issues including shipment issues to management.

Requirements:

·         Must be available for weekend work when necessary (Customer’s overtime work, any shipment issue, or monthly inventory.)

·         Must be detail-oriented, well-organized and able to multi-task.

·         Strong Math Skill is required.

·         Must possess good interpersonal skills.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel. 

·         Ability to interact well with other Departments
