Hello, Korean speakers!

A Linguistics experiment is looking for 25 Korean L2 learners of English whose L1 is standard Korean (Seoul, Kyung-ki, Daejeon, etc,. but NOT Kyungsang dialect) for a study on L2 word recognition.

The experiment will continue for 3 CONSECUTIVE days. For the first two days of training (1-hr a day), you will be learning new words for objects and get paid $8 per day. On the last day, you will be asked to listen to a short sentence and find an object in an eye-tracking experiment. For this, you will be paid $10. The experiment is conducted in Oxley Hall, Rm 10 and Rm25.

If you’re interested in this experiment, please sign up for the three time slots in the following link.

Here is a good instance of sign-up for this experiment:
1. If you want to start from Monday as the 1st day of training, sign up for one of the Monday slots under "Your eyes on Aliens_Day1" just by  entering your name, email, and phone numbers only.
2. And then, go to the "Your eyes on Aliens_Day2" to sign up for one of Tuesday slots to take the 2nd day of training.
3. Then, go to the "Your eyes on Aliens_Day3", to sign up for one of the Wednesday slots for the 3rd day of training and the eyetracking experiment. Notice: The session takes about 1.5hrs on the last day because of the
following eye-tracking experiment.

If you can’t find a good time slot, please email me and I’ll try to set up a time for you.
Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you!
