Your invited to join Ski Flight 2013 ski symposium to Europe beginning in Venice, Italy where
we have two days exploring this fabulous ancient city before bussing to Bormio an old Roman
hot spring spa located high in the Alta Valentina (Lombardy Alps). Bormio has five major ski
areas and a scenic medieval cobblestoned town with vintage ruins and thermal springs. After
six fun days skiing Bornio we cross over the nearby border pass and spectacular mountains into
Austria to ski Nauders and Sautern, in the Oetz Valley before returning home from Innsbruck
or Zurich to the U.S.A.. Again we overnight in a superior deluxe hotel with gourmet breakfasts
and dinners.
Ski Symposium Exchanges
Visits to a local ski factory and exchanges with the Italian or Austrian ski patrols and mountain
rescue groups are planned. Participation is optimal but always interesting and enjoyable.
In Bormio, we base in a luxurious hotel at 1,225 meters (3,600 ft.) located within the ski area
for convenient ski in and out. The deluxe hotel features sumptuous buffet breakfast and
delicious five course dinners as well as spa, hot tub, wi-fi and wellness facilities. Spacious
rooms have:, bath robes, TV, wi-fi, telephone, hair dryer, safe, balconies and mini bars.
