Parenting baby and having the baby grow up well and happily require effort and science. The first year of children’s life is so important that children’s relationship experiences with their parents at the early stage  probably influence their life-span development.

    Infant and Parent Project, or IPP for short, is a developmental psychological study conducted at The Ohio State University. This study will use survey and observation methods across three time points (6 month, 12 month and 14 month) to address questions regarding parenting and family factors that affect infants’ social and emotional development during the first year of their life.
     If you and your partner (1) are at least 18 years old, (2) are married, (3) have a baby of 6-month or younger,  (4) can read English, and (5) will live in this area for at least 8 months, you may be eligible for the Infant and Parent Project at the OSU. 

    By participating in this study, you not only contribute to science of child and family development but also will have a fun experience. Your family will be compensated for your time and effort. This includes $ 60 cash and a gift for your baby.
