The Advanced Institutes of Convergence Technology of the Seoul National University was founded to become a world-class institution in the cutting-edge convergence technology research.  The research areas include nanoscale, information, biological, environmental and energy-related sciences and technologies.  Our program is very active and highly interdisciplinary in these convergence science and technology areas fostering a strong interaction with the industry.

Five non-tenure track research professor positions are available immediately. Appointments will be considered in the following areas:

l  Nano Convergence Technology

-     Nano semiconductor chip design for green applications

       (extreme low power, bio/chemical molecule detection and treatment)

-          Nano photonics

-          MEMS for novel material detection and processing

l  IT Convergence Technology

-     Information technology and networking

l  Bio Convergence Technology

-          Biomolecule and cell imaging-based systems biology

-          Nanobio sensor

-          Micro/nano fluidics

-          Single molecule biophysics and detection

l  Green Convergence Technology

-          Electric vehicle

-          Next generation fuel cell

-          Energy conversion

-          Automotive integrated control system

-          Embedded software

Candidates for these positions are expected to hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree, and have a demonstrated record of accomplishments.  Salary will be commensurate with each candidate’s qualification and experience.
