Software Engineer, Desktop Applications

Responsibilities for Software Engineer

• Travels to customer sites to evaluate, diagnose and repair the Battery System.

• Collect, analyze and document user requirements;

• Design, modify, develop, support and install Desktop-based software applications;

• Participate in scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, retrospectives, estimation and refinement;

• Communicate with team members regarding projects, development, tools, and procedures;

• Utilize skills in development areas including object oriented programming (C#,ASP.NET), databases (SQL)

• Provide production support to end-users by troubleshooting issues; and

• May lead software development projects.

Qualifications for Software Engineer

• Ability to work with team members

• Customer service-oriented and good communication skills

• Able and willing to travel nationwide and International

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science;

• software development experience using Windows Forms, WPF, C#, ASP.Net, HTML, JAVASCRIPT, relational databases (SQL Server), stored procedure development, query optimization, software release management;

• Prior experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is a plus;

• Prior experience with migrating workloads to the cloud (Azure Compute) is a plus;

• Excellent computer skills, especially a strong knowledge of Windows system.

Work Location: Cincinnati, OH or Southern CA, Atlanta GA
