Advantages of Portable Air Conditioners

Advantages of Window Air Conditioners
-They are easy to install.
-They can be easily removed and stored.
-Both heating and cooling units are available.
-When strategically placed, they can cool various rooms.
Disadvantages of Portable Air Conditioner
-Some units are heavy and are difficult to be moved even on casters.
-They are less efficient as some of the air inside the room is sent out through the exhaust hose and outside warm air is sent back in.
-They are noisier.
-Water collected has to be regularly drained.
-They are suitable only for smaller rooms.
Disadvantages of Window Air Conditioners
-They block the window in which they are installed.
-Once installed, they cannot be relocated very often.
-They provide safety concern as they can be removed to provide unwanted entry from outside.
-Not all types of windows support window ACs.
