한 2년전쯤에 DIY로 제 차에 iPod/iPhone 및 Aux input이 있는 Kit을 장착한 적이 있는데 생각보다 아주 간단했습니다. 작업을 끝내는데 10분정도 걸린 것 같습니다. 저의 경우는 제 차와 모델에 맞는 Dice Electronics라는 제품을 사용했는데 인터넷으로 $100-$120 정도에 구입했던 것으로 기억합니다. 구글링하면 mitsubishi eclipse 에 맞는 Kit도 구입하실 수 있으리라 생각됩니다. 차종과 Kit에 따라서 다르겠지만 제가 장착하고 나서 며칠 후에 아는 동생도 구입했다고 연락이와서 제가 작업했던 방법을 이메일로 보내주었었는데 지금 내용을 찾아보니 아래와 같습니다. 그 동생도 10분정도만에 장착을 했다고 했던 것 같습니다.
1. Unhook the battery 2. Remove the storage bin 3. Unhook the factory wire connected to the stereo 4. Plug Dice Kit wire up in the stereo 5. Hook the battery back up 6. Test to see if it works 7. Insert the storage bin back in the place

I called many Mitsubishi dealers and their parts department was clueless about this part. Finally I spoke with San Bernardino Mitsubishi who knew what was going on and gave me the part number. I ordered the part through them and I'm good to go.The part # is MZ360135EX. it costs about $30.
I don't have an IPOD (nor will I ever) so this cable gives me exactly what I want.... a standard AUX input to the stereo.
To activate the AUX input, you can hold down the CD button for a couple second or press the input select button on the steering wheel to toggle to the AUX input.
Finally.... after 1 1/2 years of owning my 2006 Eclipse, a solution to this problem. "
