International Undergraduate Scholarship Ohio State is committed to enrolling a diverse and talented student population. The International Undergraduate Scholarship is therefore offered to qualified full-time, Columbus-campus international freshmen who pay the non-resident tuition surcharge. Admitted international students with ACT composite scores of 26 or above, or combined SAT Critical Reading and Math scores of 1180 or above are eligible for this award. No additional application is required.
Award: $6,600 ($26,400 four-year value)
This award is renewable provided the recipient continues to pay the nonresident tuition surcharge, maintains a 2.5 or higher grade point average, and makes satisfactory academic progress. Note: transfer students are not eligible for this award.
Additionally, we suggest that you contact your school counselor or other educational agencies in your home country about available scholarships for study abroad. American universities are required by the regulations of the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS) to have proof that international students can pay for the cost of all educational and living expenses, either through a sponsor or family funds, before final admission to the university can be granted.
