Hi,
I do not live in Ohio but my car is still registered in Ohio.
Now I want to sell my car but I cannot find its title document. I might misplaced it.
Is there any way I can sell my car in other states without physically visiting Ohio?
Thank you!!

I have exactly same kind of issue like u The best thing what u can try is call to title bureau not the DMV
DMV is the office that care care of driver license plate and stiker not the title.
THey will tell you exactly how to
It was exteamly frustrated that I almost was gonna come back and do the document thing but I am sure there is way u can re issue the title without physically come here

If you can't find the title, I would recommend you to call Ohio Bmv and start from there now. I think there should be a way for you to send required documents or some sort of proof for you to get the title replaced.
But the best thing to do is title the vehicle in your state where you are right now and then sell it. No person with any financial sense would buy a vehicle with an out of state title/registration, because they could easily be screwed. But, to answer your question, if you can find someone s.t.u.p.i.d enough to buy it, you can sell your car to them.
By the way, *MOST* states require you to change your license and get your vehicles registered in your new state within a certain period of time - say between 10 and 30 days, and if you get pulled over, and you haven’t done so, it’s a pretty hefty fine, and one you can’t talk your way out of.
