The RF Test Engineer position centers around on-wafer and fixtured device characterization of both MMIC and discrete devices.  Testing includes small signal characterization using a vector network analyzer, large signal characterization, load-pull, and fixtured device testing of multiple parameters.  Co-development of test plans with the design staff is required and it is the responsibility of the test engineer to determine appropriate setup of the test bed.  A sound, fundamental understanding of the measurements to be taken is required.  The engineer should be familiar with industry standard equipment required to complete the testing to include proper setup, use, calibration, and troubleshooting.  Data analysis and reporting is required in support of all projects tested and as such written reports and data delivered shall be in the form of Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint files.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
• 5 years experience with on-wafer RF test systems
• Experience with SiC, GaN, or GaAs device characterization
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and will be subject to a United States Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
• At least 10 years experience with on-wafer RF test systems to include automated load-pull of SiC, GaN, or GaAs MMIC and discrete devices
• Coding experience utilizing Visual Basic
• Design experience of device packages and fixture assemblies
• Current DoD Secret clearance
