Title: Myths and Mexican Migration: Modeling Mobility

Summary:
In this presentation I share insights to Mexican migration to the US with a focus on sending communities in the south of the country. I also introduce a model of human mobility that is founded in political ecology and the recognition of the processes that frame migration from the local to the global.
