너무 좋으시겠어요 ^^ 저는 오피서한테 물어보니깐 OSU는 인터네셔널한테 장학금이 없다고 하던데

글써주신 신입생 이란분은 어떻게 장학금을 받은건가요?

지원했는데 학교에서 알아서 준건지요?

신인생님 국적이 미국 국적은 아니시겠죠? 한국분 맞으신가요?

단지 궁금해서요 ..

저는 한국국적이예여..^^ 미국에 한번도 가본적 없는....
장학금은 생각지도 못했구여... 합격 통지서 날러왔을때, 장학금 받는다는 편지가 함께 왔어요.
정확히 장학금 이름은  international undergraduate scholarship 이구여..
입학당시 성적으로 주는 거 같습니다.
그리고 그당시 officer 한테 물어봤을 때 답변 올려드릴께여..
The International Undergraduate Scholarship is a merit-based award.  It is the only scholarship available for international students.  After you complete some coursework at OSU you may be able to apply for additional scholarships from your academic department.  Not all departments have funding available.  You will need to speak with your academic department to determine the amount of scholarships that will be available.

제가 알기론 sat 1120?점인가 넘으면 international students 장학금 주는 것으로 알고있습니다...예전에 궁금해서 이메일을 보냈었거든용...점수는 확실치 않습니다만..^^;;신입생님 혹시 따로 신청하신거에요 아니면 그냥 합격 통지서와 함께 장학금 준다고 온건가요????궁금하네용...

International Undergraduate Scholarship
Ohio State is committed to enrolling a diverse and talented student population. The International Undergraduate Scholarship is therefore offered to qualified full-time, Columbus-campus international freshmen who pay the non-resident tuition surcharge. Admitted international students with ACT composite scores of 26 or above, or combined SAT Critical Reading and Math scores of 1180 or above are eligible for this award. No additional application is required.

Award: $6,600 ($26,400 four-year value)

This award is renewable provided the recipient continues to pay the nonresident tuition surcharge, maintains a 2.5 or higher grade point average, and makes satisfactory academic progress.
Note: transfer students are not eligible for this award.

Additionally, we suggest that you contact your school counselor or other educational agencies in your home country about available scholarships for study abroad. American universities are required by the regulations of the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS) to have proof that international students can pay for the cost of all educational and living expenses, either through a sponsor or family funds, before final admission to the university can be granted.
