The Department of East Asian languages and Literatures will host a prominent poet from Korea, Dr. Dong-Wook Seo of Sogang University, who will read excerpts from his own book of poems, The First Love in Space War (Minumsa Publisher, 2009). Poems will be presented in Korean by the author and then his own English versions will be read by Yuri Doolan, a graduating senior majoring in Korean. Dr. Dong-Wook is a Writer-in-Residence supported by the Korean Literature Translation Institute.
