The 2008 Young Generation Forum (YGF) organized by KOFST will take place
in Daejeon, Korea from July 14-19, 2008.

The YGF 2008 will bring 80 young generation Korean-heritage
students/professionals from all over the world including U.S., Canada,
German, Japan, etc. as well as 40 young generation Koreans. All 1.5 and
2nd generations, who major in Science, Technology and Engineering, are
encouraged to apply for this special event in Korea. This is a rare
opportunity to meet young generation scientist and technology leaders
from all over the world as well as sharing research ideas and experiencing
Korean culture together. Additionally, the invited YG members will be fully
reimbursed for their roundtrip airfares, lodging and meals while attending
the forum.

The primary goals of the KOFST 2008 Young Generation Forum are to
promote young Korean scientists, engineers and specialists (1) to contribute to
the advancement in contemporary science and technology, (2) to understand
the current scientific and technological development in Korea, and (3) to
establish cooperative networking that will encourage them to collaborate
with foreign counterparts in the future.

The detail description of the eligibility requirements, the tentative
program and the application submission instruction is explained in the
attached announcement in this e-mail. The deadline for application
submission is March 1, 2008. We strongly encourage you to join this
great program so please start the application process as soon as possible.
