Accountabilities:
Food and Packaging
Negotiate contract pricing for all low impact non-proprietary food and packaging products
Assist in the development and execution of Risk Management strategies for low impact food and packaging products
Assist in the development and execute purchasing strategies for low impact food and packaging products
Deliver cost reduction options for all low impact food and paper products
Resolve and communicate all quality issues reported for assigned food and packaging products
Ensure non- disclosure and Approved Supplier Agreements are signed by all food and paper suppliers
Distribution
Execute the communication/information flow to the distributors
Enforce contractual compliance with all distribution members
Review distributor pricing to the stores and verify compliance to contract pricing
Provide Product Information Forms for all new products to the distributors
Promotions
Assist in the sourcing of new products for LTO’s
Communicate LTO promotion details to the approved distributors
Track distributor inventory levels of LTO products
Provide communication and feedback to all internal and external members of the promotion team
Reporting and Analysis
Provide price forecast for assigned food and paper products every quarter
Analyze freight and F.O.B. pricing to optimize product allocation among suppliers
Assist distributors in the management of product inventory for existing and promotional food and paper items
Communication
Update the prices monthly for the food and paper cost card
Operator Support
Ensure timely delivery and uninterrupted supply of food and packaging products for all Charley’s restaurants
Provide problem resolution for operator issues with distributors and suppliers
Notify food and paper distributors of all new store opening dates
Assist the international stores as requested

Education, Experience, and/or Skills:
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
10% travel required
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. This position deals with Korean distributors and vendors. Therefore this position will require the individual to speak Korean fluently.
Math Ability:
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word word processing software and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software.
